Informa Markets Fashion Rebrands to MMGNET Group

LONDON — Informa Markets Fashion has a new name: MMGNET Group (pronounced “Magnet”), a new parent brand comprised of its existing B2B fashion-event brands — MAGIC, COTERIE, PROJECT and SOURCING at MAGIC.

The mission of the new parent brand is to unify and deepen its offerings through exclusive content programs, research-driven market insights and seasonal trend forecasting, Kelly Helfman, President of MMGNET Group, said. “We are always exploring new markets and opportunities for our customers. MMGNET provides more live connection touch points throughout the fashion calendar, new digital marketing opportunities that expand reach and awareness, and a platform to innovate, pilot and test new formats and new approaches to our live event products that support current and future industry and customer needs.”

In an article in Yahoo Finance, Helfman described the process as “matchmaking,” where the company creates “a web of connections outside the traditional market cycles.” Although MMGNET plans to continue with its live events, it will also work to “support the industry in a way that drives mutual benefit moving forward.”

MMGNET’s four pillars are: connection and opportunity, actionable industry and market insights, inspiration and trend forecasting, and profitable responsibility.

“We are looking at partnerships as a great way to enhance all that we do and how we serve our customers,” Helfman said. “We will be looking at expanding our partnerships at a higher and more strategic level to reach new audiences and expand our communities. We are also looking at partnerships at the product level in ways that helps us deliver more value to both our brands and retailers.”

Also new is MMGNET, an online B2B fashion industry resource. In addition to showcasing the brands and their event calendars, the web site is rich in content. An Industry Insights section features a 2024 U.S. Fashion Consumer Outlook Report, a 2023 Sourcing Report and a 2023 Sustainability Report, while the Trends section focuses on Spring/Summer 2025 Material Sourcing, and Spring/Summer 2024 and Fall/Winter 2024-2025 trends in Women’s and Men’s Apparel. Users can sign up to get the latest research delivered right to their emails. The news section includes the latest happenings when it comes to the business of fashion.
