Job Title: Senior Event Manager

•Full ownership of the event operations for the in-person program portfolio with a supporting team.
•Manage operational expenses from budgeting, forecasting, invoicing, and closing out each of the events.
•Proposal-contracting negotiation and management, including contracts with key vendors and suppliers andHotel Contracts (working with housing broker).
•Venue planning (site selection and date solicitation) and signing of contracts including Site Rental, F&B, etc.•Manage national vendors and service providers specific to each program.
•Decorator/General Contractor requirements per program (Diagrams, Signage, Furniture Requirements).
•Onsite management of the five Primary Care CME/CE Conference & Expos including on-site travel support and managing on-site show team.
•Support Event Managers with temporary staff assignments, requests, and creation of staffing schedule.•Support Event Mangers with onsite registration design, build, and related event technologies/services includingLead Retrieval.
•Support the oversite of show shipments and freight.
•Be responsible for overall attendee experience on-site.
•Food and Beverage management.
•AV (Audio Visual) requirements per program (Room Set, Specs, & technician housing requirements).
•Presentation Theater management (Fulfill on all client details and requirements).
•Fulfillment on a multitude of promotional and educational products and sponsorships that are highlighted at the events.
•Travel to all 5 Primary Care CME/CE Conferences & Expos is required and 1-2 Regional Conferences per year.
•BS/BA (business degree preferred) and 7-10 years’ experience in trade show/event operations management.
•Managerial experience with direct reports and supporting team leads.
•Budget management experience, including forecasting and re-forecasting required.
•Client service experience and proven experience managing a support staff.
•Excellent verbal and written communications, including effective listening skills.
•Demonstrated leadership skills.
•Ability to embrace and manage change of all levels on a regular basis.
•Strong attention to detail with exceptional organizational skills.
•Proven ability to manage multiple projects and shift priorities as needed.
•Proficient in Salesforce, EXPOCAD, Envision and Passport by Freeman.
