Uniqode Leverages QR Code Technology to Enhance Event Experience

NEW YORK CITY — Since 2019, Uniqode has given trade show organizers, exhibitors and attendees alike the opportunity to leverage QR code technology on the show room floor — making for a better experience for each constituency.

For show organizers, Uniqode is an effective way to deliver information to attendees. Whether they’re giving instructions on connecting with Wi-Fi or detailing happenings throughout an event, shows that use the platform have a valuable communication channel to disseminate information.

“QR codes can be dispersed throughout the event and event organizers can use that as a way to quickly and efficiently provide information to anyone who’s attending,” Justine BaMaung, Uniqode’s Vice President of Marketing, said.

Boosting Engagement and Leads

Exhibitors can also take advantage of Uniqode’s dynamic QR codes to share information with potential customers. The platform allows a code to be linked to a document or website, which helps companies distribute marketing materials to attendees inside or outside of their booth.

Additionally, exhibiting companies can use Uniqode to gain access to leads while boosting attendee engagement. For example, if exhibitors want to conduct a giveaway, they can create QR codes for entries and collect attendees’ contact information for post-show follow up.

“It’s a way to get traction to your booth and collect leads. You can place a QR code anywhere on marketing material or in the booth itself. An event attendee will scan that and we can collect the information within the ecosystem itself,” BaMaung explained. “Then after that, within Uniqode, you’ll be able to understand the most peak times in which people are scanning and how much information you’re able to collect from the attendees. You can use all of that to select the winner, and analyze and follow up with these leads after the event itself.”

Attendee Advantages

At busy shows, attendees may have challenges keeping up with the hustle and bustle on the floor. With Uniqode, attendees are better able to organize their time and get to the sessions they’re interested in.

“Anyone can scan any of the QR codes to figure out what the agenda is for the day,” BaMaung said. “If you’re attending a session that has a presentation, you can download it during or after the session.”

Business Cards Simplified

Maybe you’ve rushed to an event and forgot to bring your business cards with you, ordered new cards and they didn’t arrive on time or you’ve connected with so many people that you ran out.

With Uniqode’s digital business card (DBC) solution, all of these common scenarios that can make networking difficult are no longer an issue. Through the Uniqode Cards App, show attendees and exhibitors are able to easily create and update DBCs and send them with a QR code, as well as through emails, texts or native mobile tools. In addition, the product provides instant two-way contact sharing to make information exchange simple.

Also, according to BaMaung, the Uniqode Cards App offers an efficient way for users to follow up on the leads they capture at a show.

“We know with handing out a physical business card, it may or may not make it into anything that you can follow up with, whether it’s your CRM or even into your phone,” BaMaung said. “Our digital business cards enable conference attendees, as well as exhibitors, to share contact information with those that they want to quickly and on the fly.”
