Trade Show Executive is pleased to announce that Andrea Doyle has come on board as TSE’s new Executive Editor. Doyle, a long-time business events journalist, is known for her work at several of the meeting industry’s leading publications, where she has garnered numerous journalism awards. “As the world slowly awakes from its COVID slumber, trade shows and exhibitions will help with recovery, and I am honored as well as humbled to have the opportunity to share its rebound with the readers of Trade Show Executive,” Doyle said. “As things evolve and change, I will keep digging to get the answers. We plan to not only report on but offer different ideas about the industry and how to succeed in each issue of the magazine.”

Carri Jensen, who has served as TSE’s Manager of Directories since she joined the publication in 2011, has been promoted to Director of Research. She will lead TSE’s research team in compiling TSE’s annual directories including the World’s Top Convention Centers directory, the Who’s Who Mega Guide, the Gold 100 directory and the Fastest 50 directory. She also oversees the production of TSE’s monthly Dashboard of Trade Show Performance, TSE’s monthly ZOOM trade show calendar, a number of statistical reports, and TSE custom research projects. She serves on the planning committee for the TSE Gold 100 Awards & Summit and the TSE Fastest 50 Awards & Summit.
Jensen will be taking over the helm of the research arm from TSE’s long-time Editor-at-Large, Carol Andrews, who is leaving after having been with the publication since 2008. During her career as TSE’s Editor-at-Large, Andrews, an award-winning B2B writer, managed special projects for the enterprise including TSE’s Gold 100 data compilation. Andrews work was featured every month in TSE’s monthly column, the TSE Dashboard.
“Carol’s deep knowledge of our industry and writing and research skills have been an invaluable asset to TSE,” said Weiss. “We will miss her expertise and the amazing attitude she brought to everything she did — especially the research projects she has led over her years with TSE.”
