Trade Show Executive Announces the Fastest 50 Education Summit Agenda

CHICAGO — Trade Show Executive (TSE) revealed its agenda for the 2024 Fastest 50 Education Summit, taking place May 9 during the Fastest 50 Awards & Summit at Resorts World Las Vegas.

This year’s educational content features a star-studded lineup of speakers who will discuss the trends and topics that matter most to trade show organizers in 2024. From changing customer expectations to regionalization to capitalizing on new revenue streams to event design, the Fastest 50 Education Summit will give a well-rounded view of the current trade show landscape and what’s next for the industry.

With more visually dynamic presentations, interactive moments and accomplished industry professionals, the summit sessions will be a can’t miss feature of this year’s event celebrating the fastest-growing shows in the U.S.

Captivating Content

Ron Walden, Senior Vice President, Strategic Partnerships and DEI Executive Level Advocate at Emerald, and Joey Graziano, Senior Vice President, Head of Global Event Strategy and Development at the National Basketball Association (NBA), will be sharing insights from the sports and entertainment event industry on where consumer demand is turning next and how organizers can further amplify their special events.

In a session all about the decision-making behind launching regional shows in a well-established brand, Kelly Helfman, President at MMGNET Group (formerly Informa Markets Fashion), will share what it takes to go local — such as regional attendee-acquisition strategies — creating different value propositions and the lessons she’s learned along the way.

Kinsey Fabrizio, President at the Consumer Technology Association (CTA), and Caitlin Fox, Vice President and Marketing Strategist at mdg, A Freeman Company, will discuss how CTA is making its massive annual event, CES, feel small for attendees through the personalization of experiences.

And in a panel session, TSE Fastest 50 growth leaders from a variety of shows that include both new and well-established brands will discuss the ways they’re mindfully growing their shows through curated audiences to increase value and what they’re doing going forward to help sustain high-quality growth. The panel will feature Glenn Celentano, Partner I CEO, Restaurant Events, LLC and Founder, The Pizza Tomorrow Summit; Marc Simon, Event Vice President, PGA Golf Exhibitions, RX; Jamie Reesby, CEM, Vice President, Generation and Grocery, Clarion Events North America; and Mary Beth Shaughnessy, Event Vice President, ISC Security Events, RX, as the moderator.

Freeman Senior Vice President of Creative + Design Dan Carter and Vice President and Executive Creative Director Stephen Kellogg will talk to the Fastest 50 attendees about how changing consumer expectations and societal trends are forcing event environments to evolve, and how trade show organizers can meet and exceed these expectations.

In a special live Power Lunch interview, Mike Carlucci, Chief Operating Officer at Clarion Events North America, will have a candid conversation with Liz Irving, President of Clarion Events North America, answering the questions that get to the heart of the trade show organizer experience of today. Carlucci will provide attendees with a deeper understanding of industry trends and his approach to leadership while discussing how to tackle today’s challenges like high costs.

Danielle Danko, Vice President of Marketing at RE+ Events, will share how the organization is harnessing new opportunities and revenue streams by providing association services, like marketing, onboarding and prospecting. By doing this, RE+ Events has successfully helped companies grow their membership and reach, thus increasing their participation in the annual flagship event RE+.
