“ARABLAB LIVE is a wonderful addition to our science and labs portfolio and we will look to extending the Lab Live brand into other geo markets. We are absolutely delighted to do this deal,” Greg Hitchen, Group CEO of Terrapinn said.
Mayfield Merger Strategies was the advisor to the ArabLab Live shareholders. “ARABLAB is the most powerful global exhibition for the laboratory and analytics sectors in the Middle East. It provides a unique platform to demonstrate the latest technology and concepts in the field of science,” Anna John, partner at Mayfield Merger Strategies, said.
She shared its huge potential for growth. “Terrapinn has some excellent synergies with their own brands that can add value and introduce new exhibitors and buyers to the event. Lab technology impacts many areas of life,” she said. “The Middle East is a very buoyant market for trade shows — we are seeing a lot of interest in investment in the region and also a lot of the existing organizers are looking at launching their brands there.”
