MAGIC, PROJECT and SOURCING at MAGIC Las Vegas Shine in 2024

LAS VEGAS  MMGNET Group’s MAGIC, PROJECT and SOURCING at MAGIC Las Vegas 2024 displayed the latest fashion trends at the Las Vegas Convention Center (LVCC) Feb. 13-15. Spanning 547,197 net square feet (nsf) at the three co-located shows, which is an increase from 2023’s 522,118 nsf, more than 700 brands showcased their products including librarian-core, maximalist and ultra-feminist looks.  

“I think what makes Vegas so special is how comprehensive it is,” Vice President of MAGIC and PROJECT Women’s Jordan Rudow said. “It really is a one stop shop, and I really think our tenure says it all… we deliver the best retailers from all over the world, we have an in-house retail team unlike a lot of other trade events… [and] we focus on the top tier of the market.”  

Connecting with Attendees  

Teodora Nicolae, Vice President of Marketing, MMGNET Group, explained that their “marketing approach is continuously being adjusted to better serve our audience and their needs — this season we focused on increasing our personalized communications utilizing multi-channel touchpoints, and on creating an even smoother ‘always on’ journey for our customers and audience.” 

According to Rudow, MMGNET Group’s personal, rigorous approach also appeared on the LVCC show floor, as every MAGIC show — Las Vegas, Nashville, New York and, in 2025, Miami — works to present a “unique point of view,” offering new resources that retailers are asking for.  

For example, KIDS at MAGIC relaunched at MAGIC Las Vegas 2024. “We were really eager to bring that back — it was a big ask of the retailer… we’re always exhibiting and listening to our audience and making strategic decisions that way,” Rudow shared.   

MMGNET Group plans to further connect the fashion industry with new exclusive content, research-driven market insights, seasonal trend forecasting, distinct curation and more business resources in the future.

90 Years of MAGIC 

2024 is MAGIC’s 90th anniversary, and happy hours, a display covering 90 years’ worth of fashion trends and a MAGIC timeline in the LVCC’s Grand Lobby commemorated this milestone in Vegas.  

“There will be more to come,” Rudow added. “I have been with MAGIC 17 years, and it’s amazing that the show has been around for 90. It’s pretty incredible to be a part of. 

“I’m always most excited to see our community come together. It’s a tactile business, so you want to touch and feel the product, and look at the product in person… just really driving those connections, that’s really what makes me tick and has kept me here for two decades. It’s really special to see the community come together, learn from one another, find new resources and also help the MAGIC vertical have a little bit of fun too.” 

MMGNET Group’s next show is MAGIC Nashville, planned for April 3-4, 2024.
