LAS VEGAS — RX’s JCK, a leading jewelry show, took place at The Venetian Expo and The Venetian Resort from June 6-9, 2025, and was visited by 30,000 industry professionals.

This year’s event theme was “Decades,” recognizing the lasting legacy of jewelry and adornment, and JCK featured premiere opportunities such as JCK Rocks, an industry party with performances from Snoop Dogg and Jason Derulo, and a keynote session with Shark Tank’s Daymond John.

RX’s Luxury, an invitation-only event catering to the niche, high-end jewelry market, took place June 4-9 at The Venetian Expo as well.

TSE spoke with Sarin Bachmann, Senior Vice President of RX’s Jewelry Portfolio, about key strategies behind the success of JCK and Luxury, including personalization and JCK’s annual theme.

ANDREW: What organizing strategies fueled success at JCK this year?

SARIN: JCK has solidified its reputation as the most important global gathering for the entire jewelry industry. In 2024, JCK proved that even when there are challenges in the market, the industry gathers at JCK and business gets done.

We also came out of 2024 showing that JCK had the ability to change the mood and direction of the industry from pessimistic and cautious to optimistic and energized. In 2025 that was proven once again: Despite the challenges of tariffs and the fluctuating economy, the entire global industry gathered at JCK, launched new products and collections, learned the latest trends, discussed breaking industry news, experienced hands-on innovations, purchased products, collaborated on a better way forward, made key connections and engaged in meaningful conversations.

Delivering such value to our attendees and exhibitors requires continuous team effort. No matter how successful we are, we focus on raising the bar each year, not just maintaining it.

Our team is constantly connecting with attendees and exhibitors, and participating in trade show industry events and learning opportunities (including reading TSE every month!) to stay ahead of the curve. This commitment lets us plan unique show content that ensures JCK remains the experience that matters most to our community.

We focus on creating best practices by taking “bets” and experimenting with new ideas every year at JCK, not just following the best practices that others set.

We also focus on reaching our attendees wherever they are. Our marketing team continues to expand our digital presence on social media with a strong mix of relevancy in both peer-to-peer and content creator collaborations and organic content.

Key events including JCK Rocks, our keynote session, partner events and education continue to fuel the need to be at JCK.

ANDREW: Did JCK grow this year? If so, what do you think drove that growth?

SARIN: Yes, the event saw growth across several key metrics. Our paid badge upgrade for attendees, JCK PRO, grew by over 20% year-over-year. This year, we amplified our concierge service approach to the JCK PRO experience, giving the JCK PRO attendees a journey that felt frictionless.

Some perks included a dedicated representative available from the time of upgrading all the way through being on-site, a private business center and lounge, VIP access to our popular concert JCK Rocks, a 20% discount on the JCK After Hours package run in partnership with Jampack and more. Overall, we learned that personalization still remains key.

Another major area of growth was in our “Activations and Experiences” sponsorships, which increased by 40% year-over-year in both the number of activations and total revenue. This has been a strategic focus for our team in recent years, first by introducing unique activations and then by building strong sponsor engagement around them.

We’re proud of the significant progress made in 2025.

We also grew our Key Retailer attendance by over 30% year-over-year, highlighting the strength of the show’s retail draw: our focus on the quality of our attendees and continuing to be the “can’t miss” industry gathering.

Beyond the numbers, we saw renewed energy and heightened industry confidence. JCK brought the community together and delivered a re-energizing experience, even in the face of external challenges.

That momentum didn’t happen by accident; it was the result of an intentional and consistent strategy. Attendees are seeking more than a trade show — they want experiences that are meaningful, inspiring and results-driven. JCK delivered that through innovative activations, top-tier networking and more.

ANDREW: How was the theme “Decades” incorporated into JCK?

SARIN: The “Decades” theme celebrated the past, present and future of the jewelry industry, [and was] a reminder that jewelry and adornment have been around since the beginning of time.

We created experiences throughout the show that weaved in the theme with memorable moments … Attendees were welcomed with a Roaring ‘20s “Flappers & Fizz” activation at registration, complete with champagne, music, flapper models and ‘20’s-themed graphics, sponsored by V&A Group

Throughout the show floor, lounges represented different decades: a 1970s Lounge sponsored by exhibiting brand Labon, a 1990s Lounge with shag rugs and photo ops, a Y2K Lounge with retro tech and the futuristic Y3000 Lounge sponsored by BLNG.AI, showcasing AI jewelry design tools.

We brought back our badge ribbon tower with decade-themed ribbons such as “80’s baby” and “Gen Z,” and opened the show with ’80s music, a balloon arch and the JCK team singing and dancing attendees in, which made them feel personally welcomed.

All these elements made the theme something people could touch, interact with and share. It enhanced the experience while honoring our industry’s incredible legacy.

JCK’s strong theme helps make it memorable for attendees.

ANDREW: How does having an event theme benefit JCK and its participants?

SARIN: A strong theme really strengthens that sense of community and makes the whole experience more memorable. It gives attendees inspiration they can take back to their stores for their customers and it drives creativity across the show floor in ways that constantly surprise and delight.

The theme gives a sense of newness to the show each year and supports storytelling. It gets conversations started, helps build connections and gives the show a unifying identity.

Our customers, including the JCK advisory board, tell us how much they appreciate this added layer of thoughtfulness, excitement and fun. It’s those details that make JCK feel special and celebratory, not just functional.

ANDREW: What advice would you give an organizer looking to incorporate a theme?

SARIN: Start with a theme that resonates with both your audience and your industry. Then commit to it fully. Infuse it into visuals, branding, activations, lounges, merchandise and marketing.

Past themes, like “Love” in 2024, were deeply relevant to jewelry and led to a strong emotional connection throughout the event.

ANDREW: Did current political and economic uncertainties impact JCK, and, if so, how did the team address them?

SARIN: Like many industries, we faced challenges tied to tariffs and global trade. Our approach was to gather and share as much timely information as possible to help our customers navigate these challenges.

We stayed focused on what we could control and our audience reaffirmed the importance of gathering together at JCK — a critical place to do business in any environment. We did in fact deliver a dynamic and productive show where the industry could connect, learn and move forward.

JCK Talks also played a critical role. With over 50 sessions and 100+ speakers, we tackled key issues head-on from sourcing and supply chain dynamics to leadership, marketing, tariffs, government compliance [and] AI.

We launched a dedicated Sustainability Stage this year for a full day of sessions. We also ensured retailer voices (our attendee audience) were present across the programming and panels to add in real-world perspectives.

Despite some uncertainty coming into the show, everyone did show up, the energy was high and real business was done, proving the enduring value of face-to-face marketing events like JCK.

ANDREW: What else was new at JCK this year?

SARIN: JCK brought to the show the first ever Kering Generation Award X Jewelry, in partnership with CIBJO and POLI.Design, spotlighting global student and startup talent focused on sustainability in design.

The Venetian is currently undergoing a $1.5-billion renovation and this year we unveiled the newly renovated second floor (home to our Luxury show) much to the delight of our attendees and exhibitors. The renovation includes a host of new eye-catching digital signage that impressively showcased the brands that participated in digital advertising.

A new way of managing leads digitally was also introduced at JCK this year. Colleqt, a technology that is powering lead generation at RX events around the world, was front and center at JCK.

Attendees could scan unique codes at exhibitor booths and sponsored activations to receive a comprehensive data report at the end of each day, while exhibitors would get the leads from these attendees as well.

This added a seamlessness to what can feel like an overwhelming experience after the show, while giving exhibitors and attendees a metric to track against while evaluating their performance.

ANDREW: How has Luxury continued to stand out as an event?

SARIN: Luxury combines high-caliber retailers, designers and brands while delivering an exceptional experience for business to get done. It is a highly curated environment, appointment-driven and designed to deliver meaningful connections to some of the most elite names in the jewelry world.

From elevated networking opportunities and daily amenities to dedicated keynote sessions, every touchpoint is intentional. It is where serious buying happens in a refined, focused setting. Our Luxury guests are immersed in hospitality and treated to a show that reflects the exclusivity and prestige of the brands they represent.

The amount of business that gets done at Luxury is the true stand out and once again beat all expectations this year.

ANDREW: What can you share about JCK 2026?

JCK will return to The Venetian Expo in 2026.

SARIN: We’ll return to The Venetian Expo in Las Vegas and our incredible team will strive to raise the bar once again, including new features, experiences, a focus on what’s next and, yes, another new theme that we recently decided on but can’t share yet!

ANDREW: Anything else you’d like to add?

SARIN: I want to extend a heartfelt thank you to every single team member for their passion and dedication, which made JCK and Luxury 2025 a remarkable success. And a standing ovation goes to our attendees, exhibitors, industry partners, speakers, industry professionals and the media.

The spirit, innovation and resilience of this community continues to inspire us every single day. We’re truly honored to be the place where the global jewelry industry comes together year after year.
