MEXICO CITY — IBTM Americas 2025 is slated for August 20-21 at Centro Banamex in Mexico City for its 16th edition.
This year, the show is expecting about 3,800 attendees, which is a 17% increase from 2024, and 400 companies exhibiting across more than 129,000 square feet of space at the Centro Banamex.
New to IBTM Americas in 2025 is the RX Trends Forum, which will bring together experts and market leaders to discuss industry trends. Trade Show Executive (TSE) connected with Eleonora García, Show Manager in RX México for IBTM Americas, to learn more about this new program.
RX Trends Forum
“The idea for the RX Trends Forum came from the need to create a space where senior decision-makers — CEOs and directors in marketing and HR — can explore the broader trends that are transforming not just the events industry, but the world at large,” García said. “We saw that corporate leaders are looking for insights that go beyond logistics — they want strategic knowledge that can help translate vision into results.”
Hot topics to be discussed include:
- AI and other emerging technology
- Sustainability
- Global economy and organizational resilience
- Human leadership and business culture
- Customer experience and marketing
- Corporate governance and financial strategy

“IBTM Americas is the perfect stage for this,” García said. “It brings together over 3,800 professionals and 400 exhibiting companies, making it the most relevant hub in the region for business and event innovation. With its diverse audience and global reach, it provides the right ecosystem for a forum like this to thrive — where knowledge, business, and inspiration intersect.”

The major themes of the forum will deliver education that business leaders can use for future-proofing their business, like using technology to drive measurable impact, leading transformations within their organizations and strategizing around competitive advantages.
“Only 8% of the companies know how to implement their vision to achieve results,” García said. “This forum is about knowing the trends that are changing the world. So, if you decide to attend RX Trends forum you will get a double value — you will get high-end knowledge, but on the other hand, you can get to know different venues and services for doing events. Usually, corporate companies need this kind of space for their strategic and sales meetings, and incentives programs, so this will be the perfect spot.”
Speakers for the forum include leaders from RX including RX Americas President Fernando Fischer, RX Mexico County Manager Luiz Bellini, RX Americas Vice President of Human Resources Alinne Rosa Aguiar, and RX LATAM Managing Director Claudio Della Nina.
They will be joined by Bruce Duncan, Managing Director of the Terasem Movement Foundation; Laurel Prime, Partner Manager at Google; Rika Nakazawa, Head of Business Innovation at NTT; Borja Castelar, Author and Official Instructor at LinkedIn Learning; Vamshi Velmajala, Managing Director at Gevme; and Carlos Loret de Mola, journalist and Founder of the Latinus platform.
