LAS VEGAS — The second annual edition of the Las Vegas Food & Beverage Industry Week (LVFBIW), in partnership with Emerald, Comexposium and Questex, is returning to the Las Vegas Convention Center (LVCC) March 27-30, 2023. The event spotlights four F&B shows — Bar & Restaurant Expo, International Pizza Expo, SIAL America, and World Tea Conference + Expo.

LVFBIW provides cross-show access for attendees to check out any of the four concurrent shows at the LVCC. The show is expected to welcome over 25,000 attendees and 750 exhibitors through the halls of the LVCC.

“We are thrilled to again partner with Questex and the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority to bring Las Vegas Food & Beverage Industry Week to life. The opportunity for tens of thousands of attendees to network across shows is a unique and incredibly beneficial experience,” Mark Stevens, Vice President of Marketing at Emerald, said.

In 2022, the inaugural event featured over 750 exhibitors, delivering a new experience for thousands of the world’s key food and beverage buyers and suppliers. In addition to the programming and events each show offers, LVFBIW creates a much needed and vital resource for small businesses within the food and beverage industry. With over 60% of attendees coming from small, single-unit companies, the shows provided a platform for these businesses to connect with industry players and learn about the latest trends.

SIAL, the world’s premier cross-category food and beverage network, is expecting 250 exhibitors showcasing their products from more than 60 countries. “We’re thrilled to bring together the best and brightest in the food and beverage industry at SIAL America 2023,” said Colleen Truman, Vice President of Global Food Group at Emerald, organizer of SIAL America. “Our exhibitors are the heartbeat of the show, and we’re excited to introduce cutting-edge new flavors and innovations to our attendees.”

This year, the National Association of State Departments of Agriculture (NASDA) will debut at SIAL America with their trade show pavilion, “A Taste of the States: Las Vegas,” to help state agricultural departments promote local food and beverage products for export.

In its 39th year, Emerald’s International Pizza Expo is the world’s largest pizza show. Welcoming thousands of pizzeria professionals from around the world, the show attracts top equipment and ingredient suppliers and features educational sessions taught by industry leaders. Pizza Expo also features national pizza competitions in categories ranging from box folding to dough tossing. Continuing their commitment to giving back to local communities, International Pizza Expo will again partner with local food charities, including Be A Voice, to donate leftover food from the show to Las Vegas organizations.

“We’re expecting a record-breaking show this year in terms of attendance. Way up over last year and 2019. The hot buttons of our industry will be highlighted, including labor shortages, supply chain issues and inflation,” said Bill Oakley, Show Director for International Pizza Expo. He reports that last year’s show included 11,000, of which 8,500 were exhibitors. Keynote speakers are Tony Gemignani, Owner of Tony’s Pizza Napoletana, and Benson Tsai, CEO and Co-Founder of Stellar Pizza, which is at the forefront of the robotics pizza movement. “Las Vegas Food & Beverage Industry Week has certainly put a positive spotlight on all our shows,” Oakley added.

At Questex’s Bar & Restaurant Expo, attendees will learn more about the latest trends and troubleshooting challenges in the bar and restaurant industry, from single unit to national chain operators and the industry’s largest hospitality groups. In addition, the event will feature recent innovations and insights into the future of the industry.

Exploring the future of the tea industry, the World Tea Conference + Expo will provide a fully immersive experience with live demos, new product sampling, and interactive conference sessions where attendees can meet worldwide suppliers and celebrate their passion for innovative tea.

“Questex is proud to be a part of the Las Vegas Food & Beverage Industry Week for the second year,” said Tim McLucas, Vice President of Bar & Restaurant Group. “The ongoing partnership with the LVCC and Emerald allows us to create a truly exceptional experience for our industry, and we’re looking forward to another successful collaboration.”

The event is the only one dedicated to the food and beverage industry in the United States combining the strengths of these four shows.
