NEW YORK — The Informa Markets Fashion team is setting the stage for a new era of buyer experience with PROJECT Presents: In your Neighborhood. The three-day event, which is being billed as a “menswear community gathering,” will feature a collection of men’s contemporary brands exclusively showing with PROJECT in New York City Jan. 24-26, 2024.

The setting is 45 Downing Street, a charming townhouse in Greenwich Village. Brands featured include Beams Plus, Keen, Gant, Ahlem, Ordinary Fits, Northworks and Gilded Age, as well as A Day’s March, Brotherwolf, Cafe Mountain, Mercer, Origin, P22 by Mercer and Stutterheim, presented by Good People Agency.

“We decided to opt for space that exemplified the incredible city of New York,” Edwina Kulego, Vice President, International & Men’s Fashion at Informa Markets, said. “45 Downing is a historic, turn-of-the-century carriage house with high-beamed ceilings, stained glass windows and fine art sprinkled throughout the space. This setting will allow us to merchandise the participating brands in an effortless lifestyle environment.”

There will be live piano music playing and snacks and beverages served throughout the day, including Mezcal from Agua Magica. Agua Magica will host a happy hour on Jan. 25 from 2–6 p.m. Attendees at the event will also enjoy a high-end gifting experience with canvas bags provided by Citta and Umbrellas by Blunt.

PROJECT is where domestic and international buyers go to be inspired by higher-end brands, find products from relevant mid-market labels in men’s and women’s contemporary apparel, footwear and accessories, and connect with industry thought leaders and fashion insiders. This event adds a whole new level of experience, Kulego said.

“With the successful and well-attended community event in partnership with Beams Plus and Sperry Topsider during Paris Men’s Fashion Week, it was evident that the PROJECT community was eager for an intimate opportunity to connect with international brands,” Kulego said. “The menswear community has voiced the need for a more curated and personal experience during the buying season, and the PROJECT Presents gathering will offer that opportunity during a pivotal time in the men’s fashion calendar. We have already secured RSVPs from notable department and boutique stores who will be in town for Men’s Market Week.”
