LAS VEGAS — Shoptalk Spring 2025, held March 25-27 at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center, brought together over 10,000 registered attendees, more than 840 sponsors and 75 sessions. With 40,000 one-on-one meetings facilitated through its highly structured ‘Meetup’ matchmaking program, Shoptalk continues to focus on curated business connections.

Now in its ninth year, Shoptalk has redefined what it means to be a retail event, blending the scale of a trade show with a content-driven conference and data-powered media platform.

A highlight this year was The New Market, a “show within a show” focused on the future of product and brand discovery within the attention economy with its own dedicated content stage and sponsors. They included headline sponsors Amazon Ads, QSIC, Sam’s Club and NBCUniversal as well as launch partners Constructor, iOPEX, and AdFury.

Shoptalk Spring is now in its ninth year.

“The way customers discover products is evolving faster than ever,” Shoptalk Global President Sophie Wawro said. “In a world where attention spans are short and purchase decisions happen in seconds, businesses must rethink not just how they capture attention but where. The New Market is Shoptalk’s new event designed to explore this thrilling, ever-shifting landscape — where retail media meets the explosive rise of next-generation discovery channels.”

Shoptalk is planning to expand both the content and stage for The New Market at Shoptalk Spring 2026 as part of its 10th anniversary celebration. But, right now, its focus is on the remainder of its 2025 events including Shoptalk Europe (June 2-4, Fira Gran Via Barcelona), Shoptalk Fall (September 17-19 at McCormick Place in Chicago) and Groceryshop (September 28 – October 1st back at Mandalay Bay).

Behind Shoptalk’s success is Hyve Group, the London-based events company that acquired the event in 2019 for $145 million. Since then, Hyve has been methodically expanding its portfolio, adding Groceryshop, Fintech Meetup, and most recently acquiring marketing-focused event POSSIBLE in Miami for a reported $40 million.
