CHICAGO — Hyve Group is entering the healthcare sector with a trifecta of international healthcare shows — HLTH USA, HLTH Europe and ViVE— through its acquisition of HLTH Inc.

According to Hyve, HLTH USA is now the company’s largest event by revenue. HLTH USA 2024 wrapped up October 23 in Las Vegas, and reported more than 12,000 attendees, of which more than 2,750 were CEOs.

ViVE, which is co-organized by HLTH and the College of Healthcare Information Management Executives (CHIME) through a strategic partnership, follows closely behind and with it comes significant growth potential. Hyve says it will continue the partnership with CHIME to continue growing and evolving the ViVE event.

The HLTH brand already attracts the blue-chip community, with a client list including Johnson & Johnson, Microsoft, Meta and Google.

“HLTH has long been admired by all of us at Hyve. It’s an incredible brand with an established reputation and this is thanks to its commitment to shaping the future of healthcare. HLTH’s dedication to driving positive change within healthcare strongly aligns with our own purpose of creating game-changing impact for the industries we support. By applying Hyve’s tried and tested centralized best practice model, and using our expertise in scaling meetings programs, we can support the continued creation of return on investment for HLTH customers,” stated Hyve CEO Mark Shashoua.

The acquisition also brings more than 80 employees and offices in New York, London and Dublin into Hyve’s business, and HLTH Founder, Chairman and CEO Jonathan Weiner “will continue to be in the driving seat of HLTH,” according to Hyve.

“In Hyve, we have found an ideal partner to elevate our vision and unlock even greater opportunities for our community. We are incredibly proud that HLTH has become a catalyst for positive change, championing equitable, affordable, and accessible health for all. With Hyve’s expertise, centralized best practices, and commitment to innovation, we will enhance the experiences we deliver and reach an even broader audience of healthcare professionals and innovators. Hyve shares our vision and is deeply committed to our long-term success,” Weiner stated.

This deal follows Hyve’s Acquistion of POSSIBLE, a premier event for the marketing industry, in July, which was its first acquisition since it was acquired by Providence Equity Partners and Searchlight Capital Partners in 2023. Like the POSSIBLE deal, the acquisition of HLTH gives the UK-based Hyve a stronger foothold in North America.
