Events DC announced that Samuel Thomas has been promoted to Chief Operating Officer. In this role, Thomas will oversee all of Events DC’s venue operations, which includes the DC Armory, Entertainment and Sports Arena, RFK Stadium and the Walter E. Washington Convention Center. He has 30 years of experience in the hospitality industry and most recently held the role of Senior VP and General Manager of the Walter E. Washington Convention Center for the last 14 years.
