CHICAGO — Trade Show Executive is a finalist for four Azbee Awards of Excellence given by the American Society of Business Publication Editors (ASBPE), including the coveted Cross-Platform Package of the Year, Overall Excellence.
Azbee finalists were selected from more than 1,000 entries submitted by business publications across the United States. The annual awards are based on editorial, online and design excellence within magazines, newsletters and digital media. In 2019, TSE was recognized as one the top 10 B2B magazines in the nation by ASBPE.
“Twenty Years of Trade Show Executive” is a finalist in the category Cross-Platform Package of the Year, Overall Excellence. This award recognizes outstanding content presented in a combination of print and digital formats. “Twenty Years of Trade Show Executive,” written by Editor-at-Large Danica Tormohlen, was the July 2019 cover story and the first of the “TSE Talks” podcast series initiated last year. TSE augmented the story by expanding it on their website and sharing it in different formats on social media platforms.
“Women to Watch 2019” is a national and regional finalist in the category of Group Profile. The article appeared in the December 2019 issue and was written by Senior Editor Regina McGee.
“IMEX America Collaborates with Sands, GES to Deliver Green Solutions,” is a regional finalist in the Case Study category. The article appeared in the April issue and was written by Tormohlen.
“Up & Up 2019 Benchmarks & Trends in Exhibit & Sponsorship Sales” is a regional finalist in the category of Original Research. Published in the April issue and written by Tormohlen, the article is an analysis of data based on TSE’s proprietary research.
“I am incredibly proud of the entire TSE team and their excellent work,” said TSE Vice President & Editor-in-Chief Gabrielle Weiss. “We’re especially excited to be recognized for our original research and for the efforts we’re making in delivering content across platforms, enabling readers to access information in formats they want—really meeting them where they are at. This is definitely the direction we are going as we continue to develop outstanding content for our community through exciting new and traditional communication platforms.”
