Oceanside, CA – Trade Show Executive this month welcomed Marilou Delosantos, who joined the magazine staff as assistant events manager, a new position. A 2006 graduate of California State University, Fullerton, Delosantos will assist TSE Vice President of Events Diane Bjorklund in the planning and execution of the annual Gold 100 Awards & Summit and the Fastest 50 Awards & Summit. She will also be involved in TSE’s social media, exhibits, sponsorships and marketing programs.
Delosantos, who is in the process of receiving her designation as a Certified Trade Show Marketer through Exhibitor magazine, brings a strong background of past experience with corporate events and trade shows to TSE. Delosantos was most recently an event marketing specialist with HD Supply, where she managed and coordinated logistics for 154 trade shows annually and also worked with event coordination and RFPs submitted by third-party vendors. Prior to that, Delosantos was an events assistant with the San Diego County Apartment Association (SDCAA). Her responsibilities included planning and coordinating quarterly meetings and three annual events: the SDCAA Education Conference & Expo, The Mark of Excellence Awards and the group’s golf tournament. Her earlier experience included the coordination of event, public relations and marketing programs for Fox Interactive Media/MySpace.com and America’s Vacation Center.
Marilou will be based at TSE headquarters in Oceanside and will be part of the on-site team at the September 18-20 Gold 100 Awards & Summit in Dana Point, CA.
