Oceanside, CA – Trade Show Executive Media Group has expanded its events division by naming Michael McGuire, CMP its new vice president of global events.
McGuire joins TSE on January 5 and will work with Darlene Gudea, president, and Diane Bjorklund, vice president of events, to expand the TSE event brand in the U.S. and overseas.
“Bringing Mike aboard is a key step in the growth and evolution of TSE events,” said Gudea. “We look forward to tapping his expertise to build on the foundation established by TSE’s Gold 100 and Fastest 50 Awards & Summit.”
McGuire earned his Certified Meeting Professional (CMP) designation in 2012. He is presently the event director and director of sales and marketing for Bollotta Entertainment and Production, Inc., an award-winning event planning and production company specializing in association, corporate and private events. He is very active in Meeting Professionals International (MPI), having served as the president of its 400-member San Diego chapter in 2013-2014, and is now currently serving as its immediate past president.
Prior to joining Bollotta in 2004, McGuire worked in various sales capacities for Spectra Sales & Marketing, Inc. and The Anthony Robbins Companies, Inc. His career includes the planning and execution of corporate conferences and events. “Mike’s skill set will be a terrific asset as we move forward in expanding Trade Show Executive globally,” said Gudea.
