Trade Show Executive’s 2023 Fastest 50 Receives Record Number of Submissions as Industry Rebounds

CHICAGO — Today is the deadline to submit an entry for the Trade Show Executive (TSE) Fastest 50. As the submissions close, TSE thanks the trade show organizers for submitting their shows to the prestigious Fastest 50, which honors the 50 fastest-growing shows in 2022 in the U.S. by net square feet, number of attendees and number of exhibiting companies compared to the last in-person edition. 

The 2023 Fastest 50 has raked in more submissions than ever before, with shows reporting impressive increases in exhibit space, attendance and the number of exhibitors.  

“I am excited about the level of engagement and responsiveness for the 2023 edition of the Fastest 50,” TSE Vice President and Editor-in-Chief Gabrielle Weiss said. “The record-breaking number of submissions shows that the industry’s rebound is strong as the year ends, and that shows are experiencing notable year-over-year growth.  The entire TSE team is looking forward to hosting an engaging, network-filled event to recognize and honor the sheer grit of the shows and teams that saw success and growth in 2022.” 

Entries are reviewed by TSE’s Research Department, which includes the post-show data submitted for the quarterly Dashboard reports. “From those that submit for the Dashboard, we’re able to tell if the show may be considered for the Fastest 50,” TSE Director of Research Carri Jensen said. “Then we also issue a call for entries to request Fastest 50 entries from shows that did not already submit their post-show data. The call for entries goes out to those shows that did not already submit their post-show data for the year and to TSE subscribers in general. Once our entry process closes, we tabulate all of the data and determine the shows that grew the most in each metric category. The top 50 in each category make the TSE Fastest 50 and the next 50 in each category comprise the Next 50 list.” 

 The TSE Fastest 50 Awards & Summit is an annual event where industry leaders gather for networking, education and to celebrate their peers’ successes. The event includes a peer-led Education Summit where TSE’s award-winning content comes to life on the main stage with panel discussions and case studies, while diving into the new trends the industry will see in 2023 and beyond.
