LAS VEGAS – As The Venetian Resort Las Vegas celebrates its 25th anniversary, this Las Vegas Strip icon is working on a $1.5 billion reinvestment project that includes a redesign of its suites and a $188 million dollar renovation of its Venetian Convention & Expo Center, one of the largest meeting facilities in the world.
“The Venetian Resort’s innovative spirit has had a massive impact on Las Vegas over the last 25 years and paved the way for our visionary $1.5 billion reinvestment today,” Patrick Nichols, President and CEO of The Venetian Resort Las Vegas, said in a statement. “This redevelopment marks more than just a surface-level renovation, it signifies a deep understanding of our guests and a profound reimagining of an iconic resort unlike any other in history. The beauty of this project lies within the balance of the beloved familiar and the never-before-seen.”
All 4,000 suites in The Venetian towers, including signature suites are being completely updated, with a décor based on the Venetian Carnival. With a combination of the Venetian and Palazzo towers, The Venetian has a total 7,100 rooms, making it the second-largest hotel in the world.
In addition, the Venetian’s Convention Center is being renovated with completion set to happen in stages between 2024-2026 and includes new elevated lounge-style spaces for all executives. A new speakeasy-style lounge is planned to offer opportunity to host invitation-only events in its 10,000 square foot space, with a Venetian design from the 1930s.

“Since inception, The Venetian Resort Las Vegas has led the landscape of meetings and conventions and remains at the forefront of this industry, so we’re thrilled to have this renovation elevate the property to yet another level to better serve our guests,” said Tony Yousfi, Chief Sales Officer at The Venetian Resort Las Vegas.
Throughout the convention center complex, a robust furnishing and fine art program will be complimented by improved lighting, audio visual updates, and thoughtfully integrated state-of-the-art digital screens and technology to create an even more powerful backdrop for meeting planners and events.
“Embarking on a refresh of a convention center that hosts back-to-back events year in and year out is no easy task, but our promise is to provide our guests a best-in-class experience,” said Nichols. “The finishes and amenities planned were thoughtfully curated based on feedback from our customers and will usher in a new era of Venetian Meetings and maintain our position at the forefront of the industry.”
The Venetian Resort also recently announced the Food Rescue Alliance, a partnership with The Just One Project to create a first-of-its kind program taking surplus fresh food from catered events to be repackaged and provided to individuals in the Las Vegas Valley suffering from food insecurity. The new partnership allows for a 100% increase in fresh meals donated to the community annually.
