Alexandria, VA – Trade Show Executive and the Atlantic City Convention & Visitors Authority have reserved a tee time for the annual Gold 100Golf Outing October 3 at the exclusive Belle Haven Country Club on the banks of the Potomac River.
Belle Haven is a 6,910-yard par-72 gem wedged between Old Town Alexandria and George Washington’s Mount Vernon. It is the closest private golf course to Capitol Hill. It covers 150 acres of riverfront real estate and is a short ride from the Gold 100 summit and festivities at the Ritz-Carlton Washington, DC, October 3-5.
The course was designed by famed golf course architect Arthur Hills to bring out the best in every player. Those players who are at their best will be in the running for the prizes that will go to the top foursomes, or to those who have a little luck on their side and connect on the longest drive or are closest to the pin. For everyone else, there will be a good walk in Northern Virginia’s perfect Fall weather.
At previous Gold 100 golf outings, prizes offered by the generous sponsors included $10,000 for a hole in one; a Mercedes S500 convertible; a big screen HDTV; and several 64G iPad 2’s. Atlantic City Convention and Visitors Authority also rewarded the First Place foursome with $1,000 each; the Second Place foursome received $500 each; and the Third Place foursome received $250 each.
The tournament will begin after participants enjoy a warm-up lunch at the Belle Haven clubhouse overlooking the 18th hole, offering a view of the Potomac that George Washington would have appreciated. Refreshments will be provided on the course. Everyone will be back at the Ritz in time for the evening’s opening reception where the prizes will be announced and the triumphs of the day’s round can be dissected, analyzed and even embellished.
