Stone Fort Partners with nGage on HR Summit Launch

HIL ANDERSON, SENIOR EDITOR

Houston – Stone Fort Group is expanding its position in the human resources sector with a hosted-buyer event for HR specialists and IT vendors that will debut next Fall in Florida.

HR Tech Connect launches November 5-7 at the PGA National Resort & Spa in Palm Beach. The meeting is a joint production of Stone Fort and nGage Events, a long-time organizer of hosted-buyer events.

“Partnering Stone Fort Group with the nGage Events version of the hosted model is a perfect fit for us,” said Philip McKay, CEO of nGage Events. “Bringing this community together surrounded by content from the highest level will make this a premier event right out of the gate.”

Stone Fort Group currently organizes Workforce NEXT for Energy held in Houston. The conference draws executives responsible for the widely diverse hiring needs of the energy industry.

Sean Guerre, Partner, Stone Fort Group, said the acceleration in technology development for the human resources sector was enough that it made sense for the executives who oversee purchases to meet with potential vendors personally in a one-on-one setting. “Given the rapid rate of change and proliferation of options from HR systems to individual apps for each phase of recruiting, engagement and workforce management, it’s important to find ways to keep a finger on the pulse of the HR tech industry,” Guerre said.
