Las Vegas, NV – Reed Exhibitions and the National Shooting Sports Foundation reached an agreement to keep the Shooting, Hunting and Outdoor Trade (SHOT) Show at the Sands Expo & Convention Center in Las Vegas through 2014.
The agreement extends a long run at Sands Expo for the two partners that have been organizing the SHOT Show together since 1979. “The venue renewal is a measure of our confidence in their ability to continue enhancing the customer experience,” said Chet Burchett, president of Reed Exhibitions Americas.
SHOT placed 13th on the 2010 Trade Show Executive Gold 100 rankings with 707,640 net square feet in 2009. The 2011 event spanned 630,000 nsf along with 57,000 attendees and 1,600 exhibitors. SHOT made it to the elite list of the 2011 Gold 100 but its ranking number will not be released until September 22 at the Gold 100 Awards & Summit at the Ritz-Carlton Half Moon Bay.
