RIYADH, Saudi Arabia — LEAP East is a new event set to take place at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre from July 8-10, 2026. This event is organized by Tahaluf, a strategic alliance between Informa PLC and the Saudi Arabian Federation for Cyber Security and Programming (SAFCSP), and marks a milestone for its plans to expand into Asia.
The three-day conference will feature over 300 global thought leaders, innovators and industry experts, including speakers from key Asian markets and beyond, spotlighting a wide array of emerging technologies including fintech, gaming, robotics, AI, smart cities, digital transformation and Web3.
The event’s dedicated Tech Arena, an immersive space, will allow attendees to experience live demonstrations and interactive showcases of the latest in technological applications. A VR experience zone, drone racing and a robotic kitchen will also be featured.

LEAP East will offer emerging companies the chance to showcase their innovations, connect with investors and expand into new markets. From pitch competitions to mentorship sessions, LEAP East will serve as a launchpad for next-generation tech pioneers.
Faisal bin Saud Al-Khamisi, Chairman of the SAFCSP, expressed the significance of this launch. “LEAP East will be a catalyst for growth in the global tech ecosystem, enhancing Saudi Arabia’s position as a leading events organizer on the world stage,” Al-Khamisi stated.
Michael Champion, CEO of Tahaluf, commented on Hong Kong’s strategic location as an ideal hub for LEAP’s expansion into Asia. “With Hong Kong’s global capital reach, sophisticated infrastructure and access to diverse markets across the region, it offers the perfect foundation for LEAP East to establish itself as a leading global tech platform,” Champion stated.
This year’s LEAP took place in Riyadh, attracted more than 200,000 attendees and boasted an economic impact of $820 million.
