CHICAGO — RX US announced the launch of Data Universe, a new global B2B event covering data, analytics, machine learning and artificial intelligence (MLAI) and more, that’s coming to North Javits Center in New York City in April 2024.
“Data Universe is designed as a B2B event where sponsors and exhibitors will have the opportunity to showcase their latest solutions to decision makers as well as those in various roles within modern organizations who have significant influence on their respective company’s decisions around data policies, tools, platforms, use cases, market opportunities, budget and more,” RX Group Vice President and Portfolio Lead Jordan Tuchband said. “Data Universe will not only bring together these audiences, but it will also emphasize real world use applications that show the power of investing in data driven solutions.”
Data Universe will build in collaboration with the RX-produced Big Data LDN, the biggest free-attendance data and analytics exhibition in the UK that RX came into ownership of after acquiring 3rd Street Group in 2021.
“RX is uniquely positioned to launch this new data and analytics event in the U.S.,” RX US President Fernando Fischer said. “Big Data LDN attracted record attendance from over 20 industry sectors last September and we’re looking forward to the same success in New York.”

“Data Universe is collaborating with Big Data LDN on many areas such as business model, content trends, experience design and program development where applicable to ensure there is alignment and consistency between the two shows,” Tuchband said. “The two show teams will work together to bring a fantastic experience to the U.S. market while ensuring that the Data Universe event in New York has its own unique attributes that align with USA attendee expectations.”
As an education-focused event, Data Universe’s programing will include presentations, case studies, panels and strategies from technology providers, consultants, academics and experts about a variety of topics relating to data and analytics. Topics include adopting and fostering data-driven culture, data governance and management and data security and privacy among others. Keynote addresses will be given by thought leaders and experts in the industry.
Different theatres will be built and deliver two days of programming that will provide attendees with actionable insights for the community the theatre serves. Along with the robust education component, Data Universe will feature an experiential show floor that will showcase the most innovative and cutting-edge technology solutions and offer plenty of networking opportunities.
“Building on the learnings, customer feedback, and the strong success of another RX event, Big Data LDN, all indicate a market need for an event of this type in the U.S.,” Tuchband said. “Data Universe is going to be a unique event experience for data professionals and the supporting ecosystem. Ultimately, attendees can expect to take back high-quality intel on how they can use data to improve efficiency, drive growth, and create new opportunities in their own businesses.”
