SINGAPORE — Paul Lee, an industry veteran of more than 20 years, has joined the executive team of Constellar as Chief Executive of Markets, charged with driving sustainable growth across new and existing markets with the goal of Constellar becoming a global leader in the MICE industry.
Constellar is one of Asia’s largest trade show and exhibition organizers, with B2B and B2C events in a range of industries, including fintech, food and beverage, and consumer IT and electronics. Its business events range from Beerfest Asia, Asia’s largest beer festival; to Comex, Singapore’s largest IT electronics show. It also manages Singapore’s largest purpose-built MICE facility, Singapore EXPO, which will soon to be Asia’s first Net Zero venue running on clean energy.
Lee’s experience dovetails perfectly with his new role at Constellar, having spent 20 years in the exhibition industry across both B2B and B2C. He is a specialist in driving business growth through strategy, launches and acquisitions, most recently as Principal Consultant (Partnerships amp; Sponsorships) with the Infocomm Media Development Authority, where he successfully cemented Asia Tech x Singapore (ATxSG) as a platform for bringing together government and industry.
Before that, he served as CEO Asia Pacific for Comexposium, managing more than 170 B2B and B2C events across 11 sectors. He also spent close to 14 years at Reed Exhibitions (now RXGlobal), where he managed multiple mergers and acquisitions in various sectors.

Lee’s focus will be on forging strategic partnerships for growing the business in key markets such as China, India and Malaysia and industry sectors including technology, advanced manufacturing and sustainability.

Constellar’s interim Group Chief Executive Officer, Chua Wee Phong, will continue to oversee all matters related to its group of companies.
