London and New Delhi – Declaring India to be a “happening market,” Montgomery International and its long-time Indian partner Inter Ads announced the formation of a new company, Inter Ads Montgomery India Pvt Ltd. After five years of close cooperation and three successful annual joint venture exhibitions, the two companies decided to make the arrangement permanent. The new company will be headed by P K Rajeevan from Inter Ads as the CEO. Other senior executives include Montgomery Managing Director Matthew Benyon and Inter Ads managing director Rajan Sharma.
“India is a happening market and with this joint venture, the new company will bring an array of new shows to India on various sectors while achieving growth in its existing exhibitions,” Sharma said. Benyon added, “The current boom looks set to continue across the board, and with such a huge potential market, it makes sense for us to deepen our commitment to India.”
Inter Ads Montgomery was born from a five-year relationship that launched three annual exhibitions in India. The new company plans to work with global brands from other companies to develop a presence in India. One of the first exhibitions to be rolled out by the new company will be VIV India, a VNU Exhibitions Europe food-processing equipment show to be held Nov. 1-3 at the riverside Pragati Maidan Exhibition Centre in New Delhi.
