Fairfax, VA – The Major American Trade Show Organizers (MATSO) announced the nomination of Pat Dwyer of Smith Bucklin as incoming Chairperson, filling the position left vacant by Jack Chalden who left SUPERCOMM to start his own company. Dwyer has been a MATSO member for 15 years.
MATSO also announced its Marketing Exchange Program, a half-day program designed to educate the marketing teams of MATSO member companies as well as provide networking opportunities. The first program will be “Complying with the New Phone, Fax and E-Mail Regulations,” presented by David Pawlik, a telecomm legal specialist. It will be held September 23 at the GASC/NPES and Graph Expo headquarters in Reston, VA. The program will be geared toward MATSO marketing teams and those prospective MATSO members whose shows meet the eligibility rules of 200,000 net sq. ft. and above. “We’d like to do more for our member’s marketing teams, not just the senior level staff members of MATSO,” says Meg Ellacott, Managing Director.
