Dallas, TX – Bruce MacMillan announced he would not return as CEO of Meeting Professionals International (MPI) when his contract expires June 30. A search committee led by MPI International Chairman-Elect Kevin Hinton was appointed to find a replacement for MacMillan. MPI COO Cindy D’Aoust will serve as the interim chief staff executive until a new CEO is named.

MacMillan led a modernization of MPI’s membership and chapter models, redesigned its live events and introduced the Global Training program. “I have been blessed to work with an inspired group of volunteers, management colleagues and industry partners over the last six years,” said MacMillan, who did not announce any future career plans.
