Atlanta, GA – John Gallagher has been named CEO of Messe Frankfurt, Inc., the U.S. subsidiary of the German exhibition organizer. Gallagher, currently senior vice president of E.J. Krause & Associates (EJK), will succeed David Audrain, who is stepping down at the end of the year.
Detlef Braun, a member of the Messe Frankfurt executive board, called Gallagher “an exhibition expert with years of experience and an in-depth knowledge of the markets in North America and South America.”
Gallagher had been involved in Plastimagen in Mexico, China Paper, and Pap for Russia in Europe. He will oversee business development in North America and Central America as well as account management for U.S. companies taking part in Messe Frankfurt shows around the world.
Gallagher was introduced to his new co-workers in Atlanta today. There was no immediate word from EJK about a potential successor to Gallagher.
