Jastrem Retires Eight Months after Assuming GES Presidency; Dykstra to Lead GES Until Successor Named

Las Vegas, NV – Viad Corp (NYSE:VVI) announced today that John Jastrem, president of its GES business unit, has decided to retire and will serve on a consulting basis. Paul Dykstra, chairman, president and CEO of Viad, will assume the additional role until the search for the GES president is completed.

Prior to heading up GES Exposition Services, which recently was renamed GES Global Experience Specialists, Jastrem was president and chief executive officer of Viad’s Exhibitgroup/Giltspur unit. Last July, GES and EG joined forces to become one business unit headed by Jastrem. Kevin Rabbitt, who was president and chief executive officer of GES at the time, remained with the company through September 30, 2009 as an advisor.
