NEW YORK CITY — In October 2025, Emerald launched the C-Suite Summit, hosted by Hervé Sedky, the organization’s President and CEO. This event brought together executives across industries to connect, share ideas and examine how AI is transforming the marketing landscape.

We checked in with Sedky to learn about this new experience.

ANDREW: What inspired the launch of the C-Suite Summit?

HERVÉ: We launched the C-Suite Summit to create a space for senior leaders across industries to step back from their day-to-day and engage in meaningful, future-focused conversations about growth, innovation and leadership. The idea stemmed from Emerald’s broader mission to connect people and ideas that move industries forward.

The Summit was intentionally designed for both existing Emerald customers and prospective customers — including both endemic and non-endemic brands. The goal was to introduce new prospects to the breadth of Emerald’s business and portfolio of events, while also giving existing customers a broader view of the depth of our platform.

By bringing these audiences together, the experience created an opportunity for leaders to explore new business possibilities across categories, discover emerging industries and brand adjacencies and identify ways to grow their businesses through the full strength of Emerald’s offerings.

ANDREW: How did Emerald organize the event for maximum success?

HERVÉ: We approached the experience with a focus on intention, design and flow — making sure every detail served a clear purpose. From the curated guest list to the structure of each discussion, the emphasis was on creating meaningful exchanges that inspired action and built authentic connections.

Every element was designed to feel elevated yet personal, fostering an atmosphere that encouraged open dialogue, trust and collaboration among peers.

ANDREW: Could you describe the event’s structure?

HERVÉ: The C-Suite Summit was a highly curated, invitation-only experience designed for executive-level engagement.

Attendees participated in private, thought-provoking sessions led by industry experts who shared exclusive perspectives on leadership, technology and the evolving future of live experiences and customer engagement.

ANDREW: What were some of the highlights?

HERVÉ: Standout moments included dynamic, forward-looking conversations on the most pressing themes in modern leadership — from transformation and innovation to the evolving role of technology and creativity in driving growth.

We brought together decision-makers and visionaries shaping the future of marketing, media and commerce, creating a forum to explore not just what’s happening now, but what’s next.

Discussions delved into how AI is reshaping customer engagement, how brands are rethinking trust and authenticity and how leaders can build agility and resilience amid uncertainty. The sessions blended strategic insight with personal reflection, encouraging attendees to ask questions, challenge assumptions and learn from one another’s perspectives.

ANDREW: How did the Summit emphasize the power of human connection?

HERVÉ: The entire experience was rooted in Emerald’s belief in the Power of Human Connection. Every session, environment and interaction was designed to foster open conversation, collaboration and community among leaders. It wasn’t about presentations— it was about shared perspectives and building relationships that extend well beyond the event itself.

ANDREW: How did attendees respond?

HERVÉ: The response was overwhelmingly positive. Attendees appreciated the depth of conversation, the caliber of peers in the room and the balance between strategic insight, inspiration and connection.
