Nashville, TN – Gaylord Entertainment announced plans for a new hotel and convention center serving the Denver area. The planned $800 million resort will be located in Aurora, near the Denver International Airport. It will include 1,500 guest rooms and 400,000 square feet of exhibit and meeting space.

Gaylord and the Aurora City Council agreed June 20 on a financial package that calls for the city to collect all tax revenues from the resort and reinvest them into the property. The next 12 months will be spent gaining further approvals from state and local officials so that construction can commence.
