CHICAGO — Being ranked on Trade Show Executive’s (TSE) Fastest 50 earns bragging rights for show organizers and recognizes their trade show as one of the fastest-growing shows in the country. Earning this high honor also gets organizers visibility in TSE reports and waived registration for two top executives at the TSE Fastest 50 Awards & Summit, which leads to increased industry connections and potential partnerships.
Next year, the Fastest 50 Awards & Summit will take place in Miami from May 1-3. This auspicious event, with the Greater Miami Convention & Visitors Bureau (GMCVB) as the Title Sponsor, will provide ample networking opportunities, topical education and peer-led discussions along with TSE’s glamorous awards gala. Enter your show to get a chance for you and your show managers to benefit from this engaging environment for meeting and sharing in each other’s successes, and a chance to spotlight individual show organizers and support personal career growth.
The entry form for the 2023 Fastest 50 Awards & Summit is now open. Trade show organizers are invited to submit their show for consideration for the awards and summit, which celebrates the fastest-growing trade shows of the year.
Participating in the Fastest 50 helps to provide reliable data regarding trade show performance, data for industry advocacy and insights into trade shows’ economic impact, all of which help strengthen the trade show industry and emphasize the importance of trade shows on the overall economy.
“To enjoy all that Miami has to offer and celebrate the fastest growing shows in the United States will be exhilarating especially with the rebounds we saw in 2021,” said Gabrielle Weiss, TSE Vice President and Editor-in-Chief. “We are thrilled to partner with the top-notch team at the Greater Miami Convention and Visitors Bureau as our first Fastest 50 event since 2019. It is already shaping up to be one of our best events yet.”
The 2023 Fastest 50 will take place at the Miami Beach Convention Center, and the Loews Miami will serve as the headquarter hotel for the event. The 1.4-million-square-foot convention center began its $620 million renovation in 2015 and finished it in 2018. The venue now has four exhibition halls, 84 meeting rooms and $7.1 million worth of art curated by the City of Miami Beach Art in Public Places program, along with a multi-million-dollar, full-sized production kitchen and nearly nine acres of public green space.
“The privilege and opportunity of hosting Trade Show Executive’s Fastest 50 represents a double-win for us.” GMCVB President & CEO David Whitaker said. “It will give us the opportunity to introduce these emerging entities to our newly reimagined and significantly expanded Miami Beach Convention Center as well as reintroduce them to one of the fastest growing and evolving destinations in North America. Winners in the race to Fastest 50 represent some of our industry’s most diverse and innovative show organizers. Successful shows thrive best in communities that match that innovation and Miami provides that platform.”
Annual shows will be evaluated on percentage of growth from 2021 to 2022. If the show did not take place in person in 2021, the show will be evaluated on percentage of growth from the last in-person edition to 2022. Only in-person metrics will be considered.
