Arlington, VA – The rapidly growing trade show Coverings has changed management companies, bringing in Taffy Events Strategies to run the exhibition and conference programs beginning with next Spring’s show.
“We are delighted to team up with Coverings to help drive its goals and add value for the thousands of show exhibitors and attendees,” said Taffy President Jennifer Hoff, who launched the company in 2014. Hoff was previously the president of National Trade Productions (NTP), which provided show management for Coverings.
Coverings is the pinnacle trade show for the tile and stone industry in the US. The management switch comes amid an impressive growth streak under NTP, which has placed the show on both the Trade Show Executive (TSE) Gold 100 and Fastest 50. The 2016 show held this Spring in Chicago was up 1.4% over 2015 with 426,680 net square feet of exhibit space. Attendance was up 2.3% at 25,347, and exhibitor numbers jumped an impressive 8.2% to 1,143.
The 2017 show takes place April 4-7 in Orlando. Coverings is sponsored by four US and European tile industry associations.
