Consumer Electronics Show AV Contract Goes to Freeman

Dallas, TX – Freeman Audio Visual announced August 5 it had been named the audio-visual service provider for the 2011 International Consumer Electronics Show (CES).

The deal puts Freeman in charge of the gamut of the audio-visual equipment needs for the high-profile event that is the largest annual trade show in the U.S. with nearly 2 million net square feet of exhibit space, according to the Trade Show Executive Gold 100 rankings.

Ken Sanders, president of Freeman Audio Visual, said his team would responsible for AV equipment and support at all three CES venues: the Las Vegas Convention Center, the Las Vegas Hilton and the Venetian. Freeman will also provide office and computer equipment to the show floor and meeting rooms as well as to the show offices, media facilities and ancillary events. The huge stream of high-speed Internet bandwidth service that drives the equipment on display at CES is provided by a separate contractor for each of the three venues.

The 2011 CES takes place January 6-9.
