The program series will kick off with the 2008 International Home + Housewares Show March 16.

Tim Roby, president and CEO of the CCTB, said PrivilegedAccess.tv  is part of an expansive campaign developed by the CCTB to help its show manager customers achieve superior show results. It will building excitement and demand for new products that will be available on store shelves later in the year.

Perry Reynolds, vice president of marketing & trade development for the International Housewares Association, said, “We feel that the show, McCormick Place and the city of Chicago will be even more appealing to our 60,000 attendees and the many others around the world who will be tempted to visit after experiencing the show on line.”

The CCTB is the first CVB in the country to offer such a  program.  It was developed in partnership with Chicago-based PrivilegedAccess.tv and the Emmy award-winning KRT Productions.  All telecasts will be produced during the show and will be accessible at www.choosechicago.com as well as www.PrivilegedAccess.tv.

The CCTB is specifically offering show organizers a plan that gives participating exhibitors a video segment between two and three minutes in length with full rights, a master DVD of the segment, access to PrivilegedAccess.tv for a full year, and a direct link to the CCTB web site for exhibitors to use in communicating to other news media, customers and worldwide staff.

“Creating added value for show organizers and their exhibitors is what we’re all about and I believe we’ve hit the mark with this online video platform and the entire PrivilegedAccess.tv package,” Roby said.
