Carpenters Union Signs Extension of Collective Bargaining Agreement with Pennsylvania Convention Center

Philadephia – The Pennsylvania Convention Center just announced that Carpenters Union Local 8 has signed an extension of their collective bargaining agreement through May 10. The facility is currently placing labor calls for the next few days and expects members of the Carpenters Union to be back working in the building within the next few hours.  Carpenters are expected to help in the move out of the American Academy of Neurology’s Annual Meeting which ends tomorrow. AAN is a citywide with 13,000 attendees that is expected to generate a $35 million economic impact for the region.
