LONDON — Anna Dycheva-Smirnova has taken the helm of Reed Exhibitions UK, in addition to her role as CEO of Russia, Turkey, and the Middle East. She replaces Darren Johnson, who spent six years in that role.
Dycheva-Smirnova joined the company as Deputy General Manager of Reed Exhibitions Russia in 2008 and became CEO of Reed Exhibitions Russia in 2017. In 2019, she was named CEO of Reed Exhibitions Turkey and Reed Exhibitions Middle East. She brings strong international expertise and events experience to her new position as CEO.
Reed Exhibitions Russia runs flagship events across many industries — including InterCHARM (perfumery and cosmetics), Aquatherm Moscow (heating, plumbing, ventilation), and MAPIC Russia (commercial real estate) — with most of them being the key events in Russia and Eastern Europe. Moving forward, she will also oversee major flagship events in the UK, including World Travel Market and The London Book Fair.
