New York – Leveraging the power of its successful exposition, educational conference, certification program and trade magazines in the travel industry, Advanstar Communications, Inc. announced the launch of the Luxury Travel Expo New York at the Jacob Javits Convention Center this October 7-10. The New York show will be held two months prior to Advanstar’s established Las Vegas event, now in its sixth year, which is set for December 7-9 at the Venetian Resort & Casino.
“Launching a New York show was a logical expansion of our already successful products,” says Scott Pierce, an Executive VP of Advanstar Communications in its New York office. Advanstar publishes Travel Agent Magazine, Premier Hotels & Resorts, Premier Spas, Premier Romance and The Luxury Travel Guide.
The event will be open exclusively to travel agents the first two days and then to the public on the last two days so that exhibitors can reach consumers directly. In addition to the show, the event will feature an educational program, certification program, networking receptions and VIP lounges. Pierce says a partnership announcement will be made in the coming weeks.
