NEW YORK CITY – The 2026 Be+Well | Beauty & Wellness Show transformed Javits Center into a global hub for the beauty and wellness industry March 8-10, 2026, drawing approximately 35,000 professionals to explore the trends, technologies and treatments shaping the sector’s future.
The event combined the International Beauty Show (IBS) and the International Esthetics, Cosmetics & Spa Conference (IECSC), two of the industry’s most-established trade shows, and featured more than 600 exhibiting brands this year.
In September 2025, Questex formally unified the events under the Be+Well brand to create a single community that reflects the increasingly interconnected beauty and wellness landscape.

Events like Be+Well are helping accelerate that evolution — serving not only as marketplaces for new products and services, but also as gathering points for the professionals driving the industry forward.
A Reimagined Show Floor
The exhibition floor was designed to encourage discovery. Questex introduced specialized “neighborhoods” organized around key sectors of the industry, including hair and salon essentials, spa and wellness, nails, cosmetics and lashes, and business, tech and retail.
“Looking back at the 2026 Be+Well New York Show, its success really stemmed from our decision to break down the silos between beauty, spa and wellness,” Elizabeth Fantetti Trevorrow, IOM, CAE, Partnership and Event Director at Questex’s Wellness Group, said. “By reimagining the floor into specialized ‘neighborhoods’ and integrating the IBS and IECSC brands so seamlessly, we moved beyond a traditional trade show. We created an ecosystem where hair, skin and wellness met in a single, high-energy environment.”
The spa and wellness zone featured skincare, body care, med spa services, waxing, tanning and spa equipment, while the business district focused on the operational side of the industry, including AI platforms, software providers, consultants and financial services.
A dedicated technology area highlighted emerging innovations such as nutrition technology, wearables and digital wellness solutions.
Trevorrow said the redesign aimed to “completely reimagine the attendee journey,” helping professionals more easily navigate the expanding intersection between beauty, health and technology.

Education and Industry Insights
Professional development was also a focus of the event. The show offered more than 100 free product-focused education classes and 16 specialized education tracks, designed to expand licensed professionals’ skill sets beyond traditional beauty training.
Topics ranged from longevity and nutrition to gut health, wellness science and the growing use of AI in business operations.
The education program reflected broader shifts across the industry, where beauty and wellness are increasingly converging as consumers look for solutions that connect appearance with health and overall well-being.
The global beauty and wellness market is projected to reach $3.3 trillion by 2032, with 82% of U.S. consumers prioritizing wellness in their daily lives, according to industry research cited by organizers.
A Hands-On Experience
Across the show floor, attendees experienced treatments and demonstrations firsthand. Stations offered LED light therapy, chair massages, facials and lash applications, while one booth drew a steady line of attendees waiting to have crystal gems applied to their teeth. Nearby, stylists demonstrated coloring techniques as rows of attendees sat with foil-wrapped highlights processing in their hair.
The event also featured experiential spaces including the Glam + Glow Stage, sponsored by Dyson, and the Wellness Den, which hosted demonstrations, discussions and interactive programming.
Together, the experiences helped transform the traditional trade show into what Trevorrow described as a “festival experience.”
