IRVING, Tex. —The Expo Group is known for technology innovations that make it easier for exhibitors to manage logistics and engage attendees.
Now, the general services contractor has done it again with the new ExpoPortal, a from-the-ground-up portal that manages every aspect of exhibit planning in one place, including e-commerce and traditional exhibitor service manual information. The portal is available to Expo Group customers, who can access it with their own individual log-in information.
ExpoPortal is customized based on the user’s requirements and designed to keep the planning process on track. A dashboard includes details of all ordered items and services, an account summary, and a library of educational videos to answer common questions about a particular show. An onboarding process bar indicates the current progress of completed and needed tasks. The portal also is personalized, so that repeat exhibitors have a different experience than first-timers.

The Expo Group’s Perspective Series exhibitor booth offerings are also integrated into the portal. This includes multiple, pre-designed rental booth options and configurations and an interactive booth builder tool that displays a dimensional, 360-degree rendering of the exhibitor’s selected booth options in real-time.
The ExpoPortal demo page on the Expo Group web site lists every task that can be included in a sample portal, from electrical and flooring to signage, furniture and telecommunications. There is also an ExpoPortal tour video.
“Exhibitors have come to expect unmatched service on shows contracted to The Expo Group,” Darren Temple, Chief Growth Officer of The Expo Group, stated. “ExpoPortal sets a new bar for delivering a portal that show exhibitors can frequent to ensure that every task for their upcoming show is easily completed from exhibit ordering to set-up services, shipping and more.”
