Turnmill Limited Expands Portfolio with Acquisition of Dealmakers Forums

NEW YORK — Turnmill Limited, a global operator of large-scale events for the financial services industry, has acquired a majority stake in Brooklyn-based Dealmakers Forums. This strategic acquisition extends Turnmill’s reach beyond financial services to the legal and technology sectors. By integrating Dealmakers Forums’ expertise, Turnmill aims to enhance its ability to deliver actionable insights and facilitate high-level connections.

This marks Turnmill’s third major acquisition. It also acquired GBM: Global Banking & Markets and UK-based Completely Events.

“Turnmill has bold ambitions in the U.S. We aim to collaborate with trade shows, conferences and media businesses that facilitate deal flow through curated, high-impact meetings that drive measurable ROI for clients. By partnering with founders and leveraging the expertise of our management team and portfolio companies, we will create scale and drive significant growth,” Louise Obadia, Group Corporate Development Director at Turnmill, said.

Dealmakers Forums is recognized for its events like LF Dealmakers, a conference on litigation finance, and IP Dealmakers, a forum for intellectual property transactions.
