LONDON — Trade show launches typically coincide with the need for a new platform to do business in a growing industry — which is exactly the situation the Water Jetting Association found itself in. The result: the first water jetting exhibition of its kind, the WJA Trade Show 2024, which will take place Sept. 12 at the StoneX Stadium in North London.
“Water jetting has developed rapidly in recent years, in terms of technology and the contribution of water jetting across many different sectors. For this reason, we believed the time was right to launch a water jetting trade show,” Leanne Smith, Water Jetting Association Director, said.
“Also, the Water Jetting Association’s remit is to promote our members and water jetting as a highly effective and sustainable industrial application, and we see this as an opportunity to do that,” she said. “Equally important is the need to advise water jetting service users about operational issues relating to water jetting, most crucially health and safety, which will be a key theme of WJA Trade Show 2024.”

WJA experts and exhibitors will be featured in the education sessions during the one-day event, which follows the WJA’s annual general meeting. The show will spotlight member exhibitors from across Europe — including Germany, Holland and Sweden — and the U.S. The show floor will feature water jetting contractors, equipment manufacturers, hire specialists, PPE suppliers and training providers, while outdoor displays will include large equipment and specialist vehicles, along with the latest water jetting pumps, robotic pumps, pressure washing units and more.
Visitors will come from industrial sectors that rely on water jetting to meet and network with leading experts and find out about new developments in areas such as water jetting robotics and water jetting sustainability.
Attendance for the first event will be free, Smith said, “because it’s the first event of its kind in the U.K., and we want as many people to attend as possible.”
Founded in 1980, the WJA is one of the world’s leading water jetting trade associations. Its members include contractors, equipment manufacturers, equipment suppliers and hire specialists, training providers and water jetting service users.
