CHICAGO — Registration for Trade Show Executive’s (TSE) 2024 Gold 100 Awards & Summit is now open. The deadline to register for this prestigious annual event is August 16, with early-bird pricing ending on July 25.
Just last week, TSE announced the Gold 100 Class of 2023, representing the 100 largest U.S.-based trade shows that took place last year. This year, the Gold 100 shows put up impressive numbers, totaling more than 42 million net square feet (NSF), 100,357 exhibiting companies and more than 3 million attendees.
The average NSF of all Gold 100 Class of 2023 shows is 420,531, with an average of 1,004 exhibiting companies and more than 30,000 attendees. Based on a space rate average of $38.78/sf, the estimated value of the exhibit space for the Gold 100p shows is $1.6 billion.
The ranked shows are invited to attend the 2024 Gold 100 Awards & Summit, taking place Sept. 17-19 at the beautiful Ritz-Carlton Bacara in Santa Barbara, Calif. The annual Chairman’s Dinner will take place the night before the event, on Sept. 16. Each ranked show qualifies for one waived registration for an executive-level team member.
Other event programming includes the annual Gold 100 Golf Tournament, where attendees can enjoy a day on the rolling greens of the famous Sandpiper Golf Club, or they can take a visit to Vega Vineyard and Farm for a wine tasting and scenic vineyard lunch — and interact with some animals on the property.
The event will cap off with the Gold 100 Awards Reception, where those representing Gold 100-ranked shows can take photos with their plaques on the red carpet, before heading into the Awards Gala. During the gala, the recipients of this year’s Grand Awards will be announced, and winners will take to the stage to receive their crystal trophies in front of industry peers.
Nominations for the Gold 100 Grand Awards and the Women to Watch program are now open and will close for submissions on July 17.
