Houston, TX – VP International announced today it will launch Total Energy USA, Oct. 16-18, 2012, in Houston, TX. The new horizontal trade show will focus on all the energy sectors, including fossil, nuclear, renewables, and cross-cutting sectors like energy-efficiency. Show organizers expect the inaugural event to draw 7,000 industry delegates and 400 exhibitors.
“Total Energy USA is based on the principle that addressing our nation’s energy challenges will require that we consider all energy options, conventional and non-conventional, along with energy efficiency and reducing energy use,” said Vinnie Polito, managing director for VP International.
Attendees are expected to include architects, builders, community leaders, developers, energy consultants, government, independent power producers, landowners, large energy users, media, oil and gas suppliers, power utilities, researchers and others. Exhibiting companies will include equipment, technologies, and products and services for every aspect of the energy industry.
VP International will produce the event with participation and assistance from the Technology Transition Corp., which will lead the content development for the educational program; Marketing Design Group, which will handle strategy and execution of marketing and public relations; and the Greater Houston Convention and Visitors Bureau, the Greater Houston Partnership, and the Houston Technology Center, which work closely with the show to contribute to the success of the event in Houston.
