CHICAGO — Viticus Group is expanding its brand to Nashville in 2026 with WVC Nashville, a new national event focused on veterinary continuing education and hands-on training. The show will take place Aug. 15-18, 2026, and the group’s expansion also includes the development of a new training facility in the city.
Viticus Groups expects to attract a new pool of participants who have not previously attended the Las Vegas event due to geographical barriers and scheduling conflicts. The timing of the show in August also allows participants to utilize their continuing education budget later in the year, providing more flexibility.
“WVC Nashville is strategically designed to draw a different demographic balance than Viticus Group’s flagship WVC Annual Conference in Las Vegas,” said Joyce Goedeke, Senior Director of Marketing and Communications at Viticus Group. “The key difference will be expected and significantly higher participation from the East Coast and Southeast regions. There are 10 states within a six-hour drive from Tennessee, and, more specifically, eight states that are within that same drive time from Nashville. This new access point will reduce travel time and costs for a large segment of veterinary professionals who might find Las Vegas a longer or more expensive trip.”

Why Nashville?
Viticus Group’s expansion to Nashville broadens its geographical reach and accessibility, gives the organization the opportunity to leverage the city’s attributes as a desirable destination, allows the strategic expansion of educational offerings and provides additional immersive hands-on training opportunities to professionals.
“The expansion to Nashville is a proactive move to solidify Viticus Group’s position as a premier provider of veterinary (and human) healthcare education,” Goedeke said. “It allows it to increase its reach, offer more specialized hands-on training and diversify its service lines, all while capitalizing on the appealing attributes of Nashville as a destination and complimentary to its Las Vegas headquarters.”

Viticus Group Education Center
Part of expansion includes the development of the Viticus Group Education Center, designed to be a state-of-the-art bioskills training facility that complements the group’s existing centers in Las Vegas.
“The Education Centers will provide similar offerings as our Las Vegas centers, which are dedicated, purpose-built spaces for hands-on lab training in both the veterinary and human health space,” Goedeke said. “WVC Nashville will offer dynamic hands-on training labs at the Education Centers, providing a real-world environment where veterinary professionals can hone skills for immediate application in their practices. While the main conference lectures and larger events will be held at the Music City Center, the Education Centers will be the hub for immersive, practical training experiences that are a Viticus Group signature offering.”
Viticus Group now boasts 80,0000 square feet of training facilities amongst two buildings on one property near the Music City Center, Nashville International Airport and the entertainment districts of the city.
“Viticus Group Education Centers in Nashville will serve as a strategic hub for veterinary education in a region historically underserved by a major, large-scale CE conference,” Goedeke said. “It directly targets professionals in the East and Southeast, offering them a more convenient and accessible option for Viticus Group’s hands-on training, and expanding the brand’s reach and impact across the country.”
Competitive Advantage
The strategic expansion not only provides an alternative to other national conferences in the industry with hands-on training and learning opportunities, but it also challenges more smaller, regional veterinary conferences with its larger-scale event and dedicated training facilities.
“Launching WVC Nashville significantly strengthens Viticus Group’s position against competing events and brands in the veterinary continuing education space through several ways: Unrivaled expertise in hands-on training that builds confidence in veterinary professionals, expanded geographic footprint and reach providing increased access to CE and hands-on training, and hands-on training courses that bridge the participant gap between conference involvement and year-round Academy CE,” Goedeke said.
