Ungerboeck Releases Suite of Tech Solutions for Restarting Events

Frances Ferrante

ST. LOUIS — A new suite of tools from Ungerboeck will help planners get their shows back on the road.

The new tech solutions assist with a variety of planning tasks, among them:

  • Visitor tracking that allows self-serve sign-in for attendees prior to the event with the option of asking about recent travels or their current state of health. It also creates an alert for high-risk attendees.
  • A room configuration tool that helps manage seating arrangements with room diagramming that takes into account social distancing regulations. Users can factor in the number of attendees to get suggested room set-ups and furniture requirements.
  • An operations checklist that provides venue staff with a mobile checklist of actionable items to better manage venue sanitation and report on activities.
  • A new hybrid events platform with analytics functionalities that allows planners to complement in-person events with virtual components, engagement opportunities, and relevant content.

These new solutions closely follow the company’s launch of its new certification program, available through Ungerboeck’s Online Learning Center. More than 7,000 event professionals have already participated in this free education platform.

“After six months of being in the pandemic, most people and businesses have figured out how to operate in a safe way. Ungerboeck has been offering a virtual event platform for events to continue while the world figures out how to get back together physically,” said Manish Chandak, President and CEO.

Now is the time to look forward, he said. “We are determined to help events open using technology that will make it safe for people to be together once again. Innovation in technology and partnership with our customers on new procedures will allow us to get there very soon; although with some compromises in the short term.”
