Los Angeles, CA – Pouria Abbassi, CEO and general manager of the Los Angeles Convention Center, will be leaving his post at the end of May. No other details were available as TSE went to press.
In recent news, Mark Liberman announced on May 1 that he will retire as CEO of the Los Angeles Tourism & Convention Board at the end of the year. A search committee established by the board of directors will determine a replacement by that time. Liberman spent nine years with the convention agency and will remain as a member of the board.
