Marc Anderson is the new President and CEO of Visit San Antonio, the city’s destination marketing organization. Anderson has 29 years of tourism and hospitality industry experience and spent six years as Chief Operating Officer at Choose Chicago, which markets McCormick Place and the city, before joining Visit San Antonio. Prior to Choose Chicago, Anderson oversaw the regional sales, marketing, e-commerce and public relations office as the Regional Director of Marketing for The Peninsula Hotels. He takes over as President and CEO for Cassandra Metej on June 1.
