Visit Seattle has named Jessica Johnson as new Director of Marketing. With more than 20 years of experience in strategic marketing, Johnson most recently served as the Director of Marketing & Business Development at Wild Gravity. In her new role, Johnson will oversee Visit Seattle’s marketing initiatives, work closely with stakeholders to identify market opportunities, and execute marketing campaign strategies to drive tourism. Her responsibilities will include promoting the destination and building brand awareness on behalf of the city, county, and region through multi-channel campaigns that focus on uplifting historically disadvantaged neighborhoods and BIPOC communities. Johnson will also collaborate with the convention sales and services team and community partners to develop and execute multi-channel meetings and convention business marketing.
